Marlon Huggins
Founder of SHYNNE

Marlon brings extensive experience in care and support, having worked at Comfort Care Services where he provided care for neurodivergent individuals and elderly clients. His professional background is complemented by deeply personal experience—he helped raise his two sisters, both of whom are autistic and have ADHD, giving him genuine insight into the day-to-day realities of supporting neurodivergent family members.

In addition to his caregiving work, Marlon has served as a mentor to a young man and holds an enhanced DBS certificate. He has completed training through a formal mentorship programme and is certified in neurodivergent coaching, equipping him with both practical skills and specialised knowledge to support diverse needs. He also holds a level 3 Health & Safety certificate.

Mia Jenkins
Events Assistant

Mia has a background in SEN education as a teaching assistant, and later worked as a career coach for a charity providing 1 to 1 support for  neurodivergent adults looking for  employment.

Having recently completed her Masters in public policy, Mia is looking to develop a career as a policy adviser, advocating for improved support and opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Mia joined the SHYNNE team as she is passionate preventing social isolation among neurodiverse people, by creating spaces where people can develop life skills and form friendships.
